Used Guillotine Shears (Mechanical)

Mechanical guillotine shears are a type of cutting tools that are mechanically operated and are often used in workshops, factories and metalworking. They are also known as mechanical impact shears. These shears consist of a fixed base and a movable cutting bar that holds the materials to be cut. A mechanical device, usually operated by a crank or lever, moves the cutting bar downward to cut the material. The movement of the cutting bar is transmitted by a system of gears, eccentrics or cams. Mechanical guillotine shears are usually designed for cutting thicker sheets and metal plates and can also be used for plastics, paper or other materials. They have the advantage of being more powerful than manual shears and do not require an external power source, as hydraulic or electric shears do. However, they are usually slower than hydraulic or electric shears and require more physical effort from the operator.
